Growing sustainable British blooms

Welcome to Jenks Farm Flowers

About us

Hi, we’re Chris & Lucy from Jenks Farm. We live in Dorset with our three wonderful children aged three, six & nine.

We were fortunate enough to take over this small patch of land at Ailwood, near Corfe Castle, in October this year and we have some very exciting plans for the place

We are the 6th generation of my family to farm this land, and it feels pretty special. We want to turn this beautiful little piece of pasture into a productive growing space and over the course of the next few years be able to bring seasonal and sustainable flowers to the Isle of Purbeck and beyond

Our aim

The farm is fully offgrid, powered only by the sun, we are trying our very best to keep our carbon footprint as small as possible. Zero use of chemical pesticides or fertilisers - working hard to create a haven for insects and wildlife

As well as our beautiful cut flowers we aim to dedicate a large area to plant around 500 trees along with creating more native mixed hedgerows. There will be a wildflower meadow to support wildlife and biodiversity and a dream would be to create a wildlife pond one day

Ultimately we want our small scale farm teeming with life
