About us

Hi, we’re Chris & Lucy from Jenks Farm. We live in Dorset with our three wonderful children aged three, six & nine.

We were fortunate enough to take over this small patch of land at Ailwood, near Corfe Castle, in October 2024 and we have some very exciting plans for the place

We are the 6th generation of my family to farm this land, and that feels pretty special. We want to turn this beautiful little piece of pasture into a productive growing space and over the course of the next few years be able to bring seasonal and sustainable flowers to the Isle of Purbeck and beyond

Our aim

The farm is fully offgrid, powered only by the sun, we are trying our very best to keep our carbon footprint as small as possible. Zero use of chemical pesticides or fertilisers - working hard to create a haven for insects and wildlife

As well as our beautiful cut flowers we've also planted nearly 800 native british trees and the next step is to increase biodiversity in our hedgerows. There will be space dedicated for the meadow to grow wild and one day hopefully a wildlife pond

Ultimately we want our small scale farm teeming with life
